The course presents a basic model for collaboration and leads students through a thorough process of how to plan and implement a collaboration process. This full-week version includes two detailed case studies that mirror the learning throughout the week. One is a detailed video case study of a successful environmental collaboration, and the other is a week-long role play on a topic related to the audience that allows students to engage in an actual collaboration and consensus building as the stages of collaboration are taught. The course uses a highly interactive format with small group activities, exercises, and training videos to reinforce the learning topics.
